Keep your convertible roof clean and algae free looking like new. Autoglym’s 2-step soft top clean and protect kit contains everything you need to clean and protect your convertible roof, whether your car has a mohair, double duck fabric or canvas top.

This soft top clean and protect kit is sufficient to treat most convertible cars twice and should create a beading effect on your soft top after rain. Not suitable for vinyl roof cars.

• 500ml Soft Top Cleaner
• 500ml Soft Top Protector
• 1 x cleaning sponge (white)
• 1 x Soft Top Protector Applicator Sponge (blue)

Using Soft Top Cleaner

1. Always work out of direct or strong sunlight and brush or vacuum your soft top to remove loose dirt
2. Dampen the roof with water
3. After shaking vigorously, add half the contents of the soft top cleaner solution to 1litre of water in a suitable container
4. We recommend you test a small inconspicuous area first for colourfastness
5. Soak the white soft top cleaning sponge in the diluted solution working on any stains or green algae first
6. Replenishing the sponge work evenly over the entire soft top working it into the soft top, using all the contents in the container (leave overnight on heavily soiled roof)
7. Remove any product from glass and paintwork with a damp microfibre cloth
8. Using a low pressure garden water hose (not a pressure washer) to rinse the roof until clean.
9. For best results ensure all product is removed from the soft top before applying the soft top protector
10. Use a damp microfibre cloth to dry the soft top roof and read instructions carefully before applying soft top protector

Using Soft Top Protector

1. Only apply to a clean damp soft top
2. Rinse the blue applicator pad in clean water and squeeze until damp
3. Working out of strong sunlight, pour the soft top protector onto the blue applicator
4. Apply evenly over the entire soft top using half the bottle of soft top protector
5. Be sure to wipe off any residue from glass and paintwork
6. Allow the roof to dry naturally in an open space before driving or lowering the soft top
